TEC Program Purpose

The Tutorial & 丰富中心(TEC)为学生提供了通过高质量的学术活动扩展课堂外学习的机会, supportive programs and resources. 这些机会进一步促进学生养成积极的学习习惯, practice, and behaviors. Further, 学生将发展批判性的学术和非学术认知技能，这是深入课堂参与所必需的. Mission

The mission of the Tutorial & 强化中心(TEC)是为所有学科提供一系列全面的辅导和学术支持服务，通过战略性和高质量的教学支持计划，提高所有十大赌博平台排行榜学生的教育成功.
 

Objectives

TEC的总体目标是让学生取得以下成绩:

    • - To foster collaborative, 通过向训练有素的同伴导师提供机会，为学生提供基于课程的学习, study groups, online tutoring, technology, and resources.

      - 帮助学生克服理解课程内容的障碍，成为自主、独立的学习者.

      - To serve diverse student populations, 通过满足学生独特的学习需求，减少学生成功的障碍.
       

      学术特定技能发展研讨会目标

      • -确保提供符合高学术水准的服务, empowering students to become responsible, active, 以及能够适应不同学习环境的相互依赖的学习者.

        -帮助学生培养在课堂内外取得成功所需的技能.

        -提供小型研讨会，讨论包括时间管理在内的主题, study strategies, writing and research, and more. 

        Supplemental Instruction Specific Goals

        • -确保提供符合高学术水准的服务, empowering students to become responsible, active, 以及能够适应不同学习环境的相互依赖的学习者. 

        • -帮助学习者提高期中和期末考试成绩, reduce the attrition rate within those courses, and increase the completion rates of students.

        • - To provide a safe, comfortable, 和温馨的环境，支持教师指导和补充学生的学习.

          目前，技术技术委员会在柯林斯-卡拉威图书馆的二楼运作.


          Virtual Hours of Operation

        • 2023年春季教务中心所有学术支援服务的运作时间如下:  

          Mondays through Thursdays 9:00AM-6:00PM

          Fridays 9:00AM-5:00PM

          TEC在上课期间提供学术支持和补习服务. Signing up for services takes just a few minutes.
